On behalf of our happy client from the paints industry, we are looking for a skilled General Manager to lead daily operations, drive business growth, manage teams, ensure project quality, and maintain strong client relationships across construction projects and corporate entities.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction
Develop and execute business strategies to increase sales strengthen the company's market position against key competitors
Oversee full P&L, and monitor financial performance by managing budgets and controlling costs to achieve profitability targets
Maintain competitiveness and align with evolving market demands
Build and manage strong client networks in the country
Identify new opportunities, enhance pricing strategies, and secure high-value contracts by benchmarking against regional competitors
Manage and lead cross-functional teams to maintain high performance
Implement talent development programs, and succession planning to sustain long-term organizational growth
Lead client communications, prepare accurate quotations, and coordinate project schedules to enhance customer experience
Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations to uphold operational integrity
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in paints, construction, manufacturing or any related industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role and with proven success in overseeing business operations, market expansion, and driving profitability against key competitors
Strong sales, business growth and proven ability to drive revenue and expand market presence
Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Excel and Word to manage reports and communications
Strong expertise in P&L management, commercial strategy, supply chain, and operational excellence
