Job Mission
On behalf of our clients from the agriculture animals feeding industry, we are looking for a Head of Sales/ Commercial Director to lead the commercial development of the company, driving sales growth across feed products and feed additives for
poultry, swine, and cattle. The role focuses on building a sustainable sales structure
through the development of own retail outlets, distribution channels, and
strategic key accounts while ensuring effective management of the sales
organization and financial discipline in receivables.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy
for Tanzania
- Expand geographic coverage and market share
- Manage and develop the company’s own shop
network
- Establish and scale distribution partnerships
nationwide
- Optimize
channels performance and profitability
- Management of sales team: lead, monitor the
sales team performance, set targets, implement sales processes, reporting and
forecasting routines
- Conduct direct sales and relationships
management with large farms and corporate customers
- Monitor and control accounts receivables and
credit exposure
- Implement credit policy and collection
strategies
- Maintain healthy cash flow and minimize
overdue balances
Key Requirements
- 5+ years
in direct sales and proven experience in commercial leadership (feed,
veterinarian products, agriculture preferred)
- Strong
knowledge of livestock sector and feed market of Tanzania
- Experience
building retail and distribution networks
- Track
record in sales growth and key account development
- Relevant
education preferred (Animal Science, Veterinary Science or similar)
