Job Summary
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Travel Consultant located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Travel Consultant will be responsible for providing guidance and travel advice to clients, managing travel arrangements, booking reservations, and ensuring excellent customer service. Additional tasks may include creating personalized travel itineraries, staying up to date on travel trends, and collaborating with global partners to craft exceptional customer experiences.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Travel Consulting, including designing personalized travel itineraries and offering travel advice
- Experience in Travel Management and handling Travel Arrangements for a variety of client needs
- Skills in Reservations across multiple platforms and the ability to organize complex travel plans
- Strong Customer Service skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of travel laws, regulations, and industry trends
- Relevant certification or a diploma in Travel Management/Tourism or a related field
- Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) systems and Itinerary building
- Niche knowledge: Experiences in
(e.g. Luxury, Adventure, Corporate or Domestic) travel
- Soft skills: Exceptional customer
service and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, new environment.
