Job Overview
On
behalf of our happy client, we are looking for Sales Agronomist to be based in Dodoma to cover Dodoma, Singida, Morogoro and Iringa regions with proven agronomy sales record responsible to form strong relationships, provide tremendous customer service, and build business in the designated areas.
Major Responsibilities
- Build lasting relationships and form mutual trust with new and
current customers to understand their needs. Uses their “can do”
attitude and outgoing personality to get the sale
- Develop a business plan by customer that demonstrates the best crop production practices to maximize yield
- Conduct sales calls to promote and coordinate the profitable sale
of products to satisfy customer needs
- Grow and maintain business with area customers
- Develop a strong working relationship with management and the team to maximize customer service and
teamwork
- Assist in facilitating operations to meet outlined customer service expectations
- Expand customer’s trust to be the agronomic business partner of choice
- Keep confidential customer information, accurate records, and organized business plans
- Strengthen customer business plans, profitably and sustainability
- Maintain company facilities, personal workspace, company equipment,
and company vehicles
Major Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy or any related agricultural field
- Minimum 3 years proven sales track record in the agronomic industry in Fertilizers, Agro Chemicals, Pesticides, Farm
Equipment, Seed, etc
- Proven sales record
in distribution, promotion and growing the sales volumes for Agricultural
Products for the Small Holder Farmers
- Must have valid car driving license
- Age maximum is 32 years
- Willing to learn new selling strategies
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
