Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Candidate with
Territory (Tanzania) knowledge of Water supply Equipment Company (like water
meters, pipes, fittings, accessories)
- Scouting/
identifying business opportunities in Tanzania, Public relations and allied
services
- Lead sales
generation through tenders, enquiries or direct sales
- Responding to
RFPs/Enquiries and preparing proactive proposals for Government tenders, EPC
companies & other private companies
- Tender preparation
& Documentation to produce quality tender submissions, tailored to the
requirements of each individual client, producing the best possible bid for the
company
- Pre-tender tie-ups. Bid submission
- To coordinate with
various agencies involved with each Sales Opportunity, including vendors, Logistics
providers, consultants etc
- Raise enquiry and
Follow up with vendor team for timely submission of offers
- Budgetary offers
comparisons, analysis and Making budgetary offer negotiations
- Outstation travel
for tender submissions and follow-ups& meetings with clients / potential
clients
- Document Liaison
with government semi government& private agencies/ companies and
departments and all other authorities
- Actively support
that payments from the customer are received in accordance with the terms and
conditions of the contract
- Actively assist
other departments to ensure that contracts/ orders are executed efficiently and
effectively
- Organize and
coordinate after-sales activities in collaboration with other Service organizations
- Reporting to the respective
Sales Head and advising on various sales matters
- Carry out Market
research, update records and maintain detailed information. Maintaining
Commercial Tracker to maintain information about competitors’ status and
pricing policy
- Provide necessary
Sales/ Market research data to Reporting Head as and when required
- Achieve the sales
target as allocated by the Reporting Head
- Effectively manage
the allocated budget in order to affect profitable performance for the area
- Achieve stock
monitoring and control targets in line with company guidelines
- Continuously
develop knowledge of competitor activity and local market conditions
- Undertake any other
reasonable duties, as requested by the Reporting Head and Takes up additional
tasks as and when assigned by Reporting Head
- Smart, analytical,
excellent communication skill, good attitude and look ahead capability, etc.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of Experience
in sales & marketing of Water infrastructure Equipment (like water meters, pipes,
fittings, water pumps &accessories).Tendering experience will be additional
advantage
- Candidate with
Technical education background will be preferred
- Candidate who is
energetic and result oriented
- Proficiency in
English and Swahili is a must
- Computer
Proficiency is a must
- Strong
time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to lead
sales activities and coordinate several tasks at the same time
