Job Summary

Mechanical Engineer will be performing metal fabrications for windows, doors, door and window grills, shelving and cabinets. To specify material requirement and quantities in all kind of work fabrications. To work with the Mechanical Technicians in the preventive and corrective maintenance of all equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To carrying out all kinds of metal fabrications for windows, doors, cabinets, drawers and shelvings
• To work with Mechanical Technicians in all fabrication, modifications and conversation work, repair and new installation works.
• To provide material specifications, estimated quantity and quality for any fabrication, modification and conversion works.
• To work with the team to carry out any repair or installation work and as may be required.
• Ensures observance of Continuous Quality Improvement & Patient Safety and adhering to the implementation of its plans and program.
• Coordinates with the colleagues in regards to the efficient maintenance and operation of the all equipment and in the preparation of all reports.
• Coordinates with the team to provide a report of the required extent of man power and material take off for a particular work in all projects.
• Carries out other duties relevant to the Department mission and as may be required by the Director of Operations & Maintenance

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience in all types of metal fabrication, metal works and modification
• Knowledge in reading and executing all types of mechanical drawing plans
• Well familiar with all types and specification of metals for fabrications
• Well familiar and must be very good in using softwares, like to design AutoCARD and Solid Works
